The Marina Super bag earth tones is the version where you can carry everything and more. Because of its size, it works great for carrying everything for a great day at the beach, at the pool, or shopping. It can also be your travel companion and be prepared with what you want to have close to you.

It is lined on the inside, closes with a zipper, and has a small pouch on the inside that likewise has a zipper. Ideal for storing your keys, cell phone, or coins. On the outside, it has a braided ribbon with two embroidered artisan figures hanging on the edges.

Like all our garments it is handmade and the technique used is backstrap loom. The design belongs to the community of Santo Tomas Jalieza in Oaxaca and is made by a group of artisans organized by Mrs. Ilde.

Each piece is unique and unrepeatable so it has its own peculiarities of its manual manufacture, these small imperfections should not be seen as flaws but as part of its unique character.

Ilde belongs to a collective that started more than 50 years ago. There are about 50 women and every two years they change the person who coordinates them, especially if there are larger orders, so that the work is equally shared.

When you visit them you can see that while some are selling, others are making backstrap loom pieces. They are very kind and hardworking women. Because they are so well organized and have years of experience, the communication and work through Ilde has been very effective.
