The Santo Tomas Belt style 21 is made in waist loom by women from the community of Santo Tomas Jalieza. The brocades represent the flora and fauna of the region and there are infinite combinations of colors and figures. It has fringes at both ends.

The lengths and widths are variable so you should see the measurements specified for each belt.

It can be used with jeans, dresses, and blouses, giving your looks a colorful and relaxed touch.

Ilde belongs to a collective that started more than 50 years ago. There are about 50 women and every two years they change the person who coordinates them, especially if there are larger orders, so that the work is equally shared.

When you visit them you can see that while some are selling, others are making backstrap loom pieces. They are very kind and hardworking women. Because they are so well organized and have years of experience, the communication and work through Ilde has been very effective.
