The Santo Tomas Belt style 11 is made in waist loom by women from the community of Santo Tomas Jalieza. The brocades represent the flora and fauna of the region and there are infinite combinations of colors and figures. It has straps that hang at both ends.

The lengths and widths are variable so you should see the measurements specified for each belt.

It can be used with jeans, dresses, blouses, giving a colorful and relaxed touch to your looks.

Each piece is unique and unrepeatable so it has its own peculiarities of its manual manufacture, these small imperfections should not be seen as flaws but as part of its unique character.

Ilde belongs to a collective that started more than 50 years ago. There are about 50 women and every two years they change the person who coordinates them, especially if there are larger orders, so that the work is equally shared.

When you visit them you can see that while some are selling, others are making backstrap loom pieces. They are very kind and hardworking women. Because they are so well organized and have years of experience, the communication and work through Ilde has been very effective.
