The Chenalho Blouse striped blouse with red brocade embossed belongs to the small town Chenalho located in Chiapas. The town is one of the municipalities of the state where the Tzotzil traditions are most deeply rooted. The techniques of craftsmanship consist of first assembling the backstrap loom and then incorporating the hand raised embroidery. The craftswomen always include in these huipiles certain elements such as the cardinal points and motifs inspired by nature. It has the same embroidery on the front and back. The cut is wide and the length reaches just above the navel.

This blouse is warm, you can wear it alone or over a turtleneck sweater or shirt.

Each piece is unique and unrepeatable so it has its own peculiarities of its manual manufacture, these small imperfections should not be seen as flaws but as part of its unique character.
